Mint Sauce

Mint sauce combines mint, water, vinegar and honey. It will give a delicate flavor to any meal.

  • 1 bunch of mint
  • Pinch salt
  • 4 tbsp boiling water
  • 3-4 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp caster sugar or 2 tablespoons honey


  1. Wash the mint leaves and drain. Using a sharp knife, finely chop them and place ina jar. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt, add honey or sugar , pour the boiling water over and stir well. Finely add the vinegar. Give a stir and let it cool. Taste and adjust seasonings to taste.
