Cornflake Cakes

These easy Corn Flakes cakes are very easy to prepare. They are a crunchy variation on the chocolate cornflake cake.

  • For the dough:
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 Tbs vanilla sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • For covering:
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup almond
  • 1 1/2 cups of sugar
  • 2 cups of cornflakes
  • 4 Tbs milk


  1. Preheat oven to 300F.
  2. Whisk the vanilla sugar, eggs and sugar well.
  3. Mix the flour and baking powder, mix over the cream-egg mixture and mix.
  4. Grease a baking sheet or cake cases (sprinkle with breadcrumbs if necessary) and spread the dough on it. Bake in pre-heated oven for 10 minutes.
  5. Butter, sugar, almond sticks, cornflakes and milk. Spread the mixture evenly on the pre-baked ground and bake for another 15 minutes.
  6. Serve.
